Educating the membership on changes in the Lodging and hospitality industry through publications, meetings, and seminars- offered a monthly series of meetings that provided localized information on public safety, market trends, and activities in five metro atlanta areas.
Awareness and promotion of the Lodging and hospitality industry- the Association is regularly quoted by the media on issues impacting Georgia hospitality and the Lodging industry.state and local leaders attended numerous meetings and events throughout the year to learn more about the industry. Ghla members and staff spoke at local city council meetings on the economic benefit of the Lodging industry and the importance of working closely with city leaders.
Networking through events that provide business opportunities to its members- event participation remained high throughout the year. Each event provided time for participants to connect with each other.
