Promote social welfare through education for human service professionals and country DFCS board members to improve their knowledge of and ability to serve Georgias most vulnerble children and families.
Promote social welfare by providing education of members of Georgia general assembly regarding issues and challenges faced by georgias most vulnerable citizens and the issues and challenges faced by those who serve them.
Gphsa provided one major and three additional training opportunities for Human Services staff. Gphsa developed a capcity to share information on the impact of major budgetary changes on the families and children served through public Human Services and shared this information routinely with Human Services staff and with board members of 159 county departments of family and children Services.
Georgias State of Hope Grant Promote social welfare by providing a forum for the discussion of programs and the identification for improvement strategies.
