Program areas at Georgia Research Alliance

Gra helps attract the world's pre-eminent scientists to lead extraordinary programs of Research and development at affiliated Georgia Research universities. These programs often lead to new discoveries in science and technology.
Gra supports new companies that bring products and technologies to market by investing in the university technology needed to advance the company's invention in the earliest stages. Gra ventures is gra's signature technology commercialization program. Launched in 2002, gra ventures helps build high-growth companies around laboratory discoveries at gra's partner universities. Gra ventures seeks out university-based Research innovations, evaluates their commercial potential and provides resources to address the management, market and technology risks that come with new ventures.
