Program areas at Georgia Youth Science and Tech Cent

Provide grants & education services to other Georgia Youth Science and technology centers to assist them in promoting enthusiasm in Science, math and technology among elementary and middle grade students and teachers located in their area - 383 schools and 103 districts served.
Provide teacher training, saturday Science education programs, workshops and other educational opportunites for Georgia students and teachers in elementary and middle grades. 66,213 students & 9,604 educators were served. Online resource guides were accessed approximately 40,000 times.
Participated in georgias governors education relief fund ii (geer) grant to strengthen stem learning with real- world information and hands-on experiences. Programming focused on in class field trips, after school enrichment options, family Science events, and providing technology to students. Six Georgia counties benfitted from these programs including baker, clay, glascock, hancock, lincoln and warren.
