Program areas at Georgia's Friends

Our program includes weekly house meetings, monthly workshops, drug testing, 12step meetings or other recovery work, and recovery planning. It is based on a peer model which encourages women to support each other in their recovery. Our goal is for our residents to leave Georgia's house as productive members of the community who are able to give back for the first time in their lives. They will contribute to the local economy and support local businesses through their jobs and volunteer work. Since Georgia's Friends opened our first recovery residence we have served 177 women and have provided more than 26,000 safe bed nights to women fighting addiction.
