German Studies Association

Gsa held its first solely in-person annual academic conference since the pandemic. Hosted in the fall 2022 and was attended by approximately 700 participants. The annual executive board meeting and annual general membership meeting are also held during the conference. In 2022, we contracted with an operations director and social media specialist to work through the 2023 conference. Interacted with other scholarly organizations, government agencies and instituional organizations that are also interested in German Studies matter.activities with berlin program for advanced German and european Studies at the university berlin.
