Gsnnj provides the Girl scout leadership experience to over 18,000 girls throughout 4 1/2 counties in Northern nj. The Girl scout leadership experience engages girls in discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action to make the world a better place. Girl scout program activities are usually Girl led and encourage learning by doing (experiential learning), and cooperative learning. Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey provides an array of program activities including sciencetechnologyengineeringartsm... (steam), environmental education and camping, the largest financial literacy program for girls in the world-the cookie program, financial literacy, college preparation and anti-aggression (bullying).
