Program areas at Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma
Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma is a volunteer-led organization that provides girls ages 5 to 17, throughout 39 counties in Oklahoma, with specialized programming to build girls of courage, confidence, and character. Programs offer a unique all-girl and girl-voice environment to focus on leadership development, STEAM, healthy living, anti-bullying, entrepreneurship through cookie and product sales, and the outdoor experience. These initiatives are accomplished through traditional troop activities and programming, council- wide girl events, Community Programs operated in area schools and community partner organizations to support girls in underserved areas. Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma is committed to providing the highest quality experience for girls and adults. This is accomplished through year-round training, education and support provided by council volunteers and staff.
