Girls on the Run Lehigh Valley & Pocono

Impacted social, emotional and physical health for over 1600 participants on 100 different sites while providing a unique experience for our diverse communities to come together. Participants were led by volunteer mentors who facilitated the 10-week, international research-proven, life skill curriculum, after-school program. Confidence and caring were further anchored with the participants completing a noncompetitive 5K and a community impact project at the end of the program. A total of 65 small groups were meeting at schools and parks as part of the program
