Program areas at Give and Teach
Miscellaneous Building Projects- In 2022 construction of storage building on the Ministry Center Grounds was started ($33,215), Team House/Conference Center ($143,457.36). Phase Two of the Ministry Center was completed in 2022 ($38,861.55) and, also a Well was constructed ($2,434.67).
Children Ministries Feeding and Educational- During 2022, schools were open on a limited basis with only part of the students attending each day on a rotating basis. Food was distributed for children to take home as the government would not allow food to be prepared at school by volunteers. During many of the distributions, either a devotional for adults or a Bible story was shared with children.
Team Mission and Mission House - Teams from United States came to Guatemala to service Give and Teach with various projects. The teams assisted with the following projects: building houses and building wood burning stoves for village families in need, constructing a playground, and other property grounds improvements at the Ministry Center. In 2022 10 houses were constructed by volunteers for families in need in the villages ($30,216.46), and 10 wood burning stoves were also built in the homes of villagers ($1,896). Teams also assisted with schools ($2,327.99) and playground ($5,337.63). Housing is provided for the teams that come to Guatemala at the Team House located on the Ministry Center grounds as well as transportation and meals ($13,400.91)..
