Program areas at Glenn Garcelon Foundation

During 2023, 201 brain tumor patients received grants for the following types of bills being paid: rent, mortgage, utilities, medical, medical insurance premiums, credit card, car payments, car insurance, lodging during treatment, hoa dues, generator, and property taxes. The Foundation holds five fundraising events each year to provide funding for its grant allocation program. The 12th annual Glenn Garcelon Foundation golf classic continues to be a successful event with 143 golfers participating raising over 17,000 to support the mission of the Foundation. Over 4,150 of that was sponsorships, with main sponsors being pepsico and mcalister's deli. The 4th annual denim and diamonds gala hosted 195 guests for dinner, dancing, silent auction and raffle. This event raised over 23,000 and the Foundation was blessed to have barrow neurological institute as one of the sponsors. The 4th annual portland taste of hope gala, an evening of food, fun, and philanthropy raised over 7,637 and was attended by 55 guests. Cgc financial was the event sponosor. Five grant recipients attended the event. The 3rd annual dallas all in for hope casino night was attended by 70 guests who participated in a raffle and wine pull when they weren't having fun at the casino tables. Wilkerson insurance company and eric and jenny long were the main sponsors. Three grant recipients attended and over 10,000 was raised for the Foundation's mission. The denver fundraising event was an online auction called raising hope. Over 20,900 was raised to support our mission, including sponsorships totaling nearly 9,500.
