Global Animal Partnership is an international, multi-stakeholder non-governmental organization dedicated to continually improving the lives of farm animals through such efforts. As outreach and the development and implementation of the 5 step Animal welfare rating system, and associated labeling (licensing) program. The program was designed in collaboration with Animal welfare advocates, Animal welfare scientists and farmers. Specific rating criteria have been established for beef cattle, turkeys, pigs, chickens, bison, goat, lab and laying hens and dairy cattle. Farms are audited by accredited third party certification bodies every 15 years.
