Program areas at Global Conservation Corps

Future Rangers Programs GCC grew its Future Rangers Program from 8 schools to 12 schools along the greater Kruger National Park's border. Reaching a total of around 4,000 students impacted in 2022. We continued games drives with our partners at the Africa Foundation, allowing impoverished youth to see African iconic wildlife for their first time. Additionally, GCC continued to grow and develop its Future Rangers App. This App allows us and other conservation partners to track the progress and impact of our collective programs across the landscape, improving efficiency of program delivery and adaptive learning approaches.
Field Rangers During 2022, GCC continued its support of field rangers of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve in South Africa. We did not have any large contributions of equipment or supplies this year yet spent more time in the field working with rangers to help advise and guide the development of our future rangers' program.
Rhino Man the Movie GCC continued its work to finalize and distribute the Rhino Man the Movie documentary in 2022. GCC setup two independent subsidiary companies (GCC Ventures, and Rhino Man the Movie, LLC) that can legally perform the worldwide business of licensing and sales for Rhino Man. We performed post production and worked with various contacts to negotiate distribution opportunites and deals for the film.
