RESEARCH - Conducted extensive legal and factual research into human rights abuses and other violations of international law in areas of armed conflict and occupation. Desk and field research were conducted, research memorandums and records were produced, and conclusions were drawn about the prospect for legal services and action. The number of persons who stand to benefit in the coming years from this research is approximately 25,000 direct beneficiaries and many more tens of thousands who may indirectly benefit.
ADVOCACY - Mapped laws and policies affecting the field of business and human rights around the world. Briefed decision makers on the impact of these laws and policies. Gave virtual and in-person lectures at international forums, professional conferences, and universities. The public at large benefited generally, and human rights lawyers, advocates, and victims benefitted specifically from these activities.
LEGAL CONSULTATION - Provided human rights lawyers and advocates with written and oral legal analysis of factual and legal circumstances surrounding violations of international law in areas of armed conflict and occupation for use in their legal and advocacy campaigns in jurisdictions around the world.
