Program areas at Global Neighborhood Thrift

Global Neighborhood provides job training and employment opportunities to former refugees so they can gain the skills and experience necessary to find long-term employment. In 2023, Global Neighborhood employed 25 former refugees in our leadership development program and paid them collectively over $600,000 in wages. Additionally, we provided workplace-focused english language courses to 34 refugees and on-the-job training to 15 refugees.
