Program areas at Global Resource Alliance
We have two tree nurseries that distributed a total of 800,000 trees at no or low cost to small scale farmers, schools, churches and government offices. We also provide training in agroforestry to all beneficiaries. All activities take place in the Mara region of Tanzania
We provide college scholarships or vocational training tuition for about 50 kids who have graduated from secondary school. College scholarships include tuition, room and board.
We support approximately 100 orphans in two related programs in Tanzania - 1 in Kinesi village and 1 in Musoma town. We provide 22kg of maize and 3.5kg of beans to each foster family each month. We also pay for all school expenses through secondary school and provide tutoring and counselling services to the kids in the program.
