Program areas at GMI Employee Club of Minneapolis
Athletics Programs - The Club supported 16 outdoor leagues/teams. These leagues and events contribute directly to the promotion of goodwill and fellowship at General Mills and within the community and drove employee satifaction Sports Tickets - Employee Club purchased and either sold at a reduced cost or gave away tickets to 10 seperate local teams (Twins, Vikings, Gophers, etc...) Outdoors - EC provided outdoor based activities to 15 different activities from Hunting/fishing to kayaking. Number of persons benefited 3283.
Special Interest Clubs - the clubs are designed to promote a particular interest shared by the club members. Each club offers experiences and knowledge to fellow employees who would like to learn more or develop skills in that area. Education, assistance and community are the primary focus of these groups. . Number of persons benefited 1002.
Social Activities - The social activities offered support all of the initiatives of the Employee Club, including community and social awareness, fellowship and goodwill. Entertainment/Theatre - Ec provided opportunities to attend 55 Fine Arts events Wellness - EC provided opportunities from webinars, to guest speakers to participatiing in the Twin Cities Marathon. Number of persons benefited 2397. .
Administrative (operations) The club sponsored a 50th anniversary clebration of the Employee Club & highlighted past & current offerings. Number of Persons Benefited 1100 .
