Program areas at Philadelphia Neurologic Institute Foundation
Philadelphia Neurologic Institute Foundation, Inc. (formerly gni neurosciences Foundation, Inc.) (the "corporation") shall be organized and operated exclusively to carry out those tax-exempt purposes enumerated under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding provisions of any subsequent tax law of the united states, including, but not limited to, raising funds for the purpose of: (i) educating the public to improve recognition of the signs and symptoms of neurological injuries/diseases, such as stroke; (ii) educating clinicians (physicians, rns, ems squads, etc.) To better recognize and appropriately treat neurological injuries/diseases; (iii) educating local communities of the capabilities and availability of neurosurgical and neurological specialists in their areas; (iv) conducting training and funding research intended to raise awareness of and further develop neurosciences treatments and devices; (v) providing incubator facility for neurosciences and mental health related start-ups; (vi) organizing and providing facilities for large conference meetings; (vii) providing laboratory and clinical training facilities for development of next generation neurosciences innovations; (viii) providing resources for associated/visiting faculty, associations and organizations; (ix) supporting a dedicated, comprehensive neurosciences Institute designed to attract nationally recognized clinicians and house dedicated, state-of- the-art research, inpatient and outpatient clinical and rehabilitation facilities so as to treat patients with the most advanced clinical techniques in both neurosciences and mental health focused on improved patient outcomes; (x) supporting on-site, dedicated office space for all neurosciences industry stakeholders who are focused on medical advancement and cure; (xi) supporting the development of mental health-related advancements; (xii) supporting dedicated academic research in the area of neurosciences and related disciplines including biomedical engineering, (xiv) supporting research, development and commercialization of promising neurosciences and rehabilitation innovations; and (xv) supporting the education of clinicians focused on advancing and improving patient care in the field of neurosciences.

A neurosciences conference was held during the year and the mission of the conference is to bring awareness, form alliances, and help move forward scientific advancement.
