Description
Go Austinvamos mobilizes community power in Austin's Eastern Crescent to reduce the negative impacts of systemic health inequities in three ways. They increase access to physical activity and improved nutrition by organizing partnerships, connecting neighborhood leaders to resources, and advocating for a healthier built environment. They also work to improve neighborhood stability by identifying policies, tools, and programs that can mitigate cost of living and pressures from climate change that worsen displacement. Go Austinvamos builds coalitions with other groups impacted by these issues.
