Golden Oaks Village (gov) is nestled on 110 acres in nw ok. It offers the beauty and peacefulness of country living surrounded by two manicured stocked fishing lakes and a golf driving range. We are a continuing care Retirement community providing independent, assisted, residential care, long term care and short-term rehabilitation services. Independent living: in 2022, services were provided to 156 independent living residents. Included in these services is the opportunity to enjoy a dynamic lifestyle with leisure and social activities. Independent living residences feature a variety of floor plans with full kitchens and modern conveniences. Included for all independent living residents is a maintenance-free lifestyle, routine housekeeping services, access to home cooked meals, life enrichment and spiritual programming. Residential care: residential living served 14 seniors throughout 2022. Services include caregiving assistance with activities of daily living, medical management, social engagement, well balanced meals, and other supportive services. Assisted living services assisted living noted service to 42 individuals in 2022. This service line offers a high level of support with activities of daily living. Care may include: medication management, well balanced meals, social engagement and other supportive services. Financial aid and attendance benefits are available for qualified veterans. Long term care services: everything we do revolves around the resident and their personal well-being. Each resident receives the attention of a highly trained team that develops an individualized goal-oriented program designed to foster personal independence and maximize the quality of life. We accept medicare/medicaid/ltc insurance and serve 117 residents. 108 short term rehabilitation patients were provided services in 2022. This care is a high level of medical attention that is provided by trained individuals, such as registered nurses and physical, speech and occupational therapists. These services can be short term for rehabilitation from an illness or injury. Our skilled facility has private studio suites with private bathrooms. We served 108 residents with this specialized health service. Community benefit: as a christian non-profit community, Golden Oaks Village participated in several community benefit programs. These programs provided invaluable senior support to the greater enid community. These programs included participation in raising money for the alzheimer's association, the national arthritis foundation the fallen heroes program, as well as the Oklahoma city national memorial marathon program. Over $2,000 was raised through these efforts. The compassionate quilter group provides quilts for all gov veterans, gold star families for memorial day and for honored veterans at the legacy award ceremony on veterans day. More than 40 quilts were distributed. The needlecrafters group at Golden Oaks provided caps and matching blankets for stillborn babies reunion with parents. They also provided caps and prayer shawls for cancer and hospice patients. Over 200 caps were distributed in 2022. The organization used surplus furniture assets to provide assistance to needy families. Golden Oaks professionals provided assistance to ten (10) veterans needing aid and attendance benefits to offset certified health services. Residents and employees provided more than 30 boxes of christmas gifts to overseas children through samaritan's purse. In 2022 Golden Oaks Village began opening its fitness center to seniors within the greater enid community. This allowed seniors a place to work out safely and independently, while improving their overall well-being. Temporary compassionate housing was provided to families displaced by inclement weather or natural disasters. 40 with parents: 40 quilts were distributed. The needlecrafters group at Golden Oaks provided caps and matching blankets for stillborn babies reunion with parents. They also provided caps and prayer shawls for cancer and hospice patients.
