College Tournaments & Management - The Palmer Cup, Patriot Cup and Genesis Showcase are annual events held to recognize and promote the game of golf and specifically to promote golf among collegiate mens players. The matches recognize the accomplishments of the student athletes and our member coaches from member universities and colleges throughout the United States. Additionally, the matches provide the opportunity for junior golfers to receive instruction from the student-athlete participants and coaches.
GCAA National Awards Program - The Association, through its numerous Awards Programs, recognizes the accomplishments of its member coaches and student-athletes, both in the classroom and on the golf course. Awards programs are provided to all divisions within our membership equally. Some of these include: All-American Scholar Team, Coach of the Year and Player of the Year Awards.
National Coaches Convention - the event is held annually for the membership and invited guests to discuss pertinent issues and topics related to collegiate golf. Numerous educational breakout sessions are held to provide professional development and education to the membership. Nationally significant speakers provide education during the convention. A National Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet is held during the event to recognize the outstanding achievements of selected member coaches.
