Good Counsel Services

One-on-One Legal Services: Good Counsel is a legal advocacy education organization dedicated to supporting social entrepreneurs. We are committed to protecting start-up companies by providing education, consulting and counseling to leaders in the sector. In 2023, we welcomed returning, current, and new clients, which enriched both our students' learning experiences and expanded the organization's knowledge base and resource library.

Internship Program: We mentor and educate talented individuals from around the world, providing critical resources, training, and guidance aligned with our mission to support social entrepreneurs and emerging nonprofits. Over the past five years, we have mentored hundreds of students, cultivating subject matter expertise that enhances our impact and enriches our participants learning experiences. In 2023 our program provided participants with practical skills and meaningful including a comprehensive understanding of key nonprofit functions such as fundraising or marketing. This valuable experience has prepared them to lead and contribute more effectively to the nonprofit sector in the future.

Fiscal Sponsorship: Good Counsel provides fiscal sponsorship to groups aligned with its mission to support social entrepreneurs and emerging nonprofits. In 2023, we managed tax-deductible donations and grants for various charitable projects, including assisting a young Bangladeshi asylum seeker in seeking safety and education abroad. We also supported organizations like Elevated Access, a nonprofit offering free flights to individuals in need of essential healthcare amid restrictive state bans; and Project Liberation, which empowers justice-involved women through trauma-informed programs. Through our sponsorship, we helped these initiatives grow their impact and reach those in need across the country.
