Program areas at Good Karma Bikes

At Good Karma Bikes, our mission is to empower people and build community through bikes. Thousands of bicycles come to us through community donation and impound. The majority of bicycles are refurbished by volunteers and granted to those in-need. The remainder is sold in our second hand bike shop. The clients we serve are homeless, veterans, low-wage workers, and low-income families, however, we have never turned anyone away for financial reasons. Since 2009, we've provided over $3.1M in community aid in the form of free bikes, parts, and service. We've served over 47,500 clients, granted over 9,600 refurbished bicycles to individuals in-need. As a community organization we are not limited to bicycle repaid and have also assisted client with fixing wheelchairs, walkers, and carts.
