Human services: in 2023, Good Neighbor House provided essential resources for over 43,335 individuals and families through human services programs such as nutritional services and household items.distributed 610,687 items of foodheld 48 lectures covering wellness topics to 336 participants386 active human service volunteers & groups donated 7,632 hours of their timehealthcare services: as one of the few providers of low cost dental, medical, eye, and dietary services in the area, gnh was instrumental in improving the health of many who would otherwise not be able to afford needed healthcare. Gnh provided quality affordable (little to no cost) health care visits to uninsured and underserved families throughout the miami valley region.provided 241 counseling sessionsprovided 1,219 medical and general care examsduring 2023, gnh accepted care source, molina and buckeye insurances for its dental patients, providing a total of 2,808 quality care dental visits at low and affordable costsprovided 41 visits with optometrists and distributed free glasses vouchersprovided 3,338 prescriptionsprovided 38 visits with podiatristsprovided 120 physical therapist visitsprovided 223 visits with registered dietitians through the special dietary needs pantry272 healthcare professionals donated over 1,600 hours of quality care and time to help meet the growing healthcare needs of uninsured neighbors.
