Program areas at Goodwill Industries of San Antonio
Through the generosity of its donors and the dedication of its employees Goodwill San Antonio (gwsa) donated goods and retail operation (dgr) was able to support the personal and professional development of both its dgr team members and for gwsa clients by contributing to the support of other education and job placement programs. Commercial contracts delivers services to the state government, municipalities, academic institutions, and commercial business for a range of service solutions, including commercial landscaping, irrigation, tree care, and call center operations.
Through its workforce development programs gwsa has remained committed to helping community members achieve upward mobility through stable employment, skill development and job training. During 2023 increased its efforts making a transformational impact by assisting vulnerable individuals in gaining skills, credentials, and resilience to retain employment and compete for the better jobs that provide higher wages and more advantageous benefits.
