Program areas at Goodwill SOLAC
In 2023, Commercial Operations consisted of 17 stores, 1 outlet, an e-commerce sales outlet (ShopGoodwill.org), and 1 aftermarket (salvage) sales operations. It provided employment to more than 350 individuals in 2023 and generated income that supports Vocational Services and LINKs Language Services.
LiNKS Sign Language and Interpreting Services provides interpreters to assist the hearing impaired in communications, as well as translation services in over thirty languages including Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean. In 2023, LiNKS served over 2153 individuals, (1098 for ASL and 1055 for language). Revenues generated from the retail operations and LiNKS supports our Work Force Development programs.
In 2023, 4,304 people accessed Goodwill SOLAC's job programs. Of those participants who accessed those services, 623 entered training programs, 477 completed training programs, and 477 individuals were placed into employment.
