Supportive Housing - In 2023, Pathlight Home served approximately 700 individuals, with residents receiving case management services through one of Pathlight Homes supportive housing programs. Residents served include African American (57%) White (28%) Unknown (12%),Asian (2%) and Other(1%). By gender Male(46%) Female (41%) and unknown 13%). The average length of stay is 3.1 years. Since moving in to Pathlight Home, residents have improved their housing situations, safety, parenting skills, and management of their disabilities.
Training/Economic Opportunities - Pathlight Home serves individuals with barriers to employmentthrough their program, Pathlight Kitchen. Pathlight Kitchen offers 12-week basic culinarytraining including a food handler management certification, and ServSafe, and dining room and tableservice skills. 85% of Pathlight Kitchen participants obtained or maintained employment 6 monthsafter the program, compared to only 12% who were employed prior to the program. During 2023 therewere 169 participants in these training classes.Resource Center/Economic Opportunities - Employment counseling was offered to over 735 persons by our trained employment counselors. We also provided computers for job seekers to apply online and to search for jobs. We also provided classes in resume building, interviewing and job searching.
The Center provides meals, social services and peer counseling for very low income and homeless persons with serious mental illness. 197 persons were served during 2023.
