Grand Piano Series preserves and presents classical music performed by the highest caliber of artists, and engages with their community to educate and inspire people of all ages. They offer ongoing online concert and educational programs through two active YouTube channels and podcasts. The program also showcases thirteen ticketed concerts at various locations in Florida, including St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, the Wang Opera Center, and the Military Heritage Museum Gulf Theater in Punta Gorda. Additionally, they host four unticketed concerts annually.

Program areas at Grand Piano Series

Concerts - live concert program including 20 ticketed concerts at st. leo the great catholic church in bonita springs fl, trinity by the cove in naples fl, moorings presbyterian church in naples fl, barbara b. mann in ft. myers fl, and the military heritage museum gulf theater in punta gorda fl. An additional 7 unticketed community concerts were also presented, for a total of 27 concerts in all with a total concert audience of 3858. These concerts were performed from october 2022 to april 2023.
Online concert and educational programming - ongoing program of video editing and production along with maintenance of two active youtube channels and active podcasts to present past concert performances, recorded educational lectures and pre-concert artist dialog, and recorded masterclass events. This included posting of 38 new concert videos, 7 new lectures/discussions, and maintenance of popular student masterclasses. This programming reached an audience of 100,562 viewers.
Student educational programs - student educational programs to inspire schoolchildren and reinforce classroom music curriculum through a monthly program of artist mini concerts and student dialog. Our effort included 28 visits to local schools (primarily title 1 schools) with a total of 6925 student-days participation including students from multiple classrooms during each visit.
Hurricane ian damage repairs - insurance-paid repair of concert Piano damage caused by hurricane ian.
Senior center outreach activity - seven free "share-the-artist" concerts and discussion programs were presented at local senior centers and community organizations in naples fl and bonita springs, fl. These events were attended by 390 participants.
Advanced student masterclasses - four free masterclass events were conducted by our visiting professional artists to expand educational opportunity for local advanced music students. These events were attended by 17 music students and 89 public observers. In addition to these live events, our online library of masterclass events reached 796 viewers during this fiscal year.
