GRAND SLAM FOUNDATION ACHIVEMENT ARE AS FOLLOWS:Little League Team so that youngsters have the opportunity to showcase their athletic ability,Physical instruction programs to build the strength and stamina required to play competitively in their sport of choice,Practice facilities at Grand Slams indoor batting cages as well as at its outdoor practicelocations through partnerships with the NYC Park and Recreational Department,A comprehensive summer camp that provides aspiring baseball and softball players with the training fundamentals as well as wrap-around supports such as social activities, academic tutoring and mentoring, etc. to improve the quality of life of the participant,National and international talent showcases where university and major league scouts are invited to evaluate the players talents,Little League Club activities through partnership with local leagues and nutritional educational and counseling programs where valuable infomation is provided. after - schoolactivities including tutoring,homework help,college preparation,sports,ect. available on weekday afternoons and evenings. Instruction and mentoring programs desined to teach yongsters how to behave in different situations, although the emphasis is on professional encoumters. Workshops are provided on appropriate langauge, demeanor and attire,Neighhborhood development and community engagement, Visits and workshops with positive role models including celebrity athletes and well-regarded public figures as well as workshops on self-esteem,goal and positive- thinking.
