Granny's Garden School uses the school grounds to help students discover the beauty and importance of nature, to experience the satis- faction of growing their own food, and the simple joy of picking a flower. We collaborate with schools and the community to offer fun, imaginative, hands-on learning to compliment the school's curriculum. We guide educators in the innovative and practical conversion of school grounds into self-sufficient learning environments that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and love for nature. Granny's Garden School spans two local school districts, and serves an average of 2,500 students each year, an average of 10 times per year.
