Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival puts on a high quality arts festival for the Northwest Florida area and runs for 3 days on the first weekend of November. The organization includes a Performing Arts Stage featuring local and regional dancers, a Student Art Show displaying artwork from both elementary and high school students, and a Musical Stage bringing in various musicians. In celebration of their 50th anniversary, Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival partnered with the Pensacola Foo Foo Festival to bring a Grammy awarded Bluegrass music artist to the area who performed two packed free shows.

Program areas at Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival

Visual Arts Festival: Provides a high quality juried art show to the Northwest Florida area. More than 140,000 people attended the three day event that showcased professional artists from all over the nation. Over 200 artists were invited to exhibit their work. Our Heritage Arts Show section included artists demonstrating Crafts of the Past. There were 40 artists included in this section.
The Arts Festival also includes a separate Children's Festival where children can participate in many different artistic areas including areas for special needs children.
Other program services include a Performing Arts Stage that invites local and regional dancers to perform. Additionally, our Student Art Show brought in student artwork from both elementary and high school students. Our Musical Stage also brought in various local and out of state performers.
Revenue includes collection for the Donna Fassett Scholarship.
