Program areas at GLA
Curatorial operations: maintained Lake Superior Center facilities operations. We welcomed 214,533 guests into our facility, one of our biggest years on record. We remodeled a small exhibit on our second floor, re-branding it as "wild neighbors", which houses terrestrial animals native to the northern mn ecosystem.we expanded our in person programs (e.g. Dive shows, otter feedings, camp, etc.) And events, as all covid restrictions were lifted.
Education - Lake Superior Center offers public programs to raise awareness of freshwater environmental issues. We had approximately 10,400 attendees for educational programs.
