Program areas at GLA

Curatorial operations: maintained Lake Superior Center facilities operations. We welcomed 200,626 guests into our space during the 360 days we were open in 2022, while observing covid safety protocols put into place by the mn state health department and cdc.as covid restrictions began to ease, we were able to begin offering in person programs (e.g. Dive shows, otter feedings, camp, etc.) And events with some adaptations for safety.
Education - Lake Superior Center offers public programs to raise awareness of freshwater environmental issues. We had approximately 10,400 attendees for educational programs.
