Program areas at Great Lakes Bay Pride
Education, networking, and resource mission objectives include free events such as the Great Lakes Bay Pride festival,saginaw spirit Pride night, and Great Lakes loons Pride night. The Great Lakes Bay Pride festival is our largest, public gathering opportunity in the region and welcomed nearly 3,000 attendees in 2022. Over sixty retail and resource vendors also participated in the festival to share their lgbtq+ inclusive services.
Support services include a monthly transgender peer support group and the harmony diversity choir. The transgender peer support group creates a safe space for transgender, nonbinary, and allies to gatherfor socializing, education, and resource sharing. Harmony diversity choir is a program of Great Lakes Bay Pride that uses the language of song to share a message of diversity, equity, inclusion, and acceptance through public performances in the region. Harmony diversity choir provides a safe space for performers to hone their skills and expand their repertoire.
Together in Pride is Great Lakes Bay pride'ssignature fundraising event that supports the operations of the organization. Together in Pride also serves as a networking opportunity for the lgbtq+ and ally community togather in a safe and supportive environment.
