Greater Baybrook Alliance GBA is a non-profit community development organization whose mission is to act as a catalyst and conduit for equitable development and reinvestment in the Brooklyn, Brooklyn Park, Curtis Bay neighborhoods and empower our residents to strengthen the Baybrook community. Greater Baybrook Alliance is non-profit community development corporation, responsible for a wide range of community building, neighborhood revitalization, and issue advocacy leadership for the South Baltimore peninsula.

Program areas at Greater Baybrook Alliance

Medstar - pass-thru grant from MedStar Harbor Hospital to City of Refuge Baltimore. The project will renovate 3501 7th Street, a 46,687 sq ft industrial property, into a center for social transformation providing services to residents overcoming poverty and rebuilding their communities. Awarded funds will support renovation of the existing commercial kitchen into a cafe and the Workforce Development Hub and other site infrastructure and predevelopment work.
Pass-thru grant from Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development to Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. This program identifies vacant, distressed, or problem properties in the Brooklyn Park community; ACDS acquires and rehabilitates them into affordable rental housing.
Doj - community based crime reduction - gba works with a team of community stakeholders to assess underlying drivers of gun violence, determine areas of focus, and develop environmental and programmatic interventions to reduce gun violence in our neighborhoods.
