Program areas at Greater Cincinnati Microenterprise Initiative

Job Training & Employment Programs: The Microenterprise Loan Program created and/or retained 24 full and part time jobs and retained over 101 PT/FT jobs with our Loan Portfolio of clients as a direct result of our access to capital activities. GCMI also provided 172 clients with Classroom and/or technical assistance, 83 completed our Entrepreneurial Training Academy (ETA). GCMI also provided access to capital through microloans and small business grants to 38 businesses with a large number of them being Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) business owners in 2023.
