Program areas at Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation
All three categories of Patient-Related Grants Cancer can be devastating not only on the patient, but can also place a great burden on the patients family, their spousal relationships, and the well-being of the children of cancer families. In 2023 we helped over 102 individuals struggling with cancer.
Scholarship Grants We welcome the opportunity to offer limited stipends to young cancer survivors as well as young members of cancer affected families. We want these young personae who have triumphed over the challenge of cancer to focus on the future and achieve their goals. we believe this investment will pay dividends in the creation of future of careers in engineering, healthcare, business, education and other fields. The program is intended to allow students to pursue and undergraduate degree from an accredited university, community college, or vocational technical school. Previous receipts still in undergraduate study may re-apply on an annual basis. A volunteer committee with no relationship to any applicants will use the following criteria to evaluate the scholarship applications. 1. Student essay 2. Academic achievement 3. Community service 4. Financial need. In 2023, 17 students were awards scholarship grants.
Holiday Wishes A special grant to help families during the holidays. In 2023, we helped 83 families.
