Dallas independent school district partnership - through the gdhcc'spartnership with the Dallas independent school district (disd), fundingis provided to make services available to m/wbe enterprises so they cansuccessfully compete for contracts with the disk. The gdhcc has had apartnership with disd for over 18 years. Just like with the bac and thegulf region sbtrc, the gdhcc successfully operates and exceedspreformance requirements. That is why it continues to secure fundingthrough a competitive process. The gdhcc covid-19 small business support program is a covid 19initiative designed to help and support small minority and woman ownedbusiness via technical assistance, education and training, to enhancebusiness operations and business opportunities, as well as connect toexisting gdhcc and partner resources associated with the ongoingcovid-19 recovery and relief efforts.

The gulf region small business transportationresouce center (sbtrc) is one of eleven regional field offices of theus departmet of transportation's office of small and disadvantagedbusiness utilization (osdbu). The gulf regions sbtrc provides servicesto small businesses in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, andnew mexico.
