Incubator Startup Activity In 2018-2019, the Mill provided space, programing and ? or support for number of startups at its 20High St lokation. The core areas for thes startups were : water tech,genetic research, profesional services.In2019 the incubator facility's usable space had a 90 utilizatiom rate with aproximately 18 startups and several expansions.Programmatic highlights includ workshops sessions covering Pitch practice,value proposition development smart-city engagement, government connectionsUSDA,SBIR,EPA,SBA SBDC,m Export Assistance connections with regionalk utility leaders. University of Cincinati, IP shop -talk and assistannce with local law firm,financials workshops, board composition advising, customer/prospect panel,presentation peactice, Bringing New Technologies to Market,Business ModelDesign and review, EPA Cincinnati Lab and Engineer Connections, Morning mentoring with Queen City Angels.
Pipeline The University of Cincinnaty began in 2018-2019 to assist The hamilton Mill and its various programmatically geared clientele. An initial series of seminar presentations were given to provide an overview of services available from UC. This was followed by one-on-one consultations where an informationm exchange accurred to better inform the UC,HM and the company representatives of needs and potential services available to meet thos needs.
Small Business Development Center Activity.Our advisory program continuedtheir notable advisory service which include confidential one -to -one advising at no cost and an array of management training programs and technical business assistance..Highlights include a total client portfolio of over 296 client and nearly 800 hours of business development advising.Over this same period there have been approxinately 70 business strts and 123 jobs created tha resulted nearly 5 million dollars in capital formatiom and 2.14 in sale growth.
