Program areas at Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce
Member services and programs: our member services committees have been very active. Twenty-four ambassadors assisted with over 100 Chamber events throughout collier county inlcuding ribbon cuttings, wake up Naples, business after 5 mixers, accelerated networking luncheons and new member orientations. The action committee tripled in size and has enthusiastically manned our event registration tables, assisted with all our special events and personally mentored new Chamber members. These motivated young business professionals are the future of our Chamber. Our events and programs continue to be most successful. When we include the very popular networking luncheons, business after 5's, executive club events, golf tournaments, community conversation forums, and the annual dinner, we have produced over 100 excellent events this past year attended by several thousand members and collier county residents
Public policy our legacy leaders: 10 companies who underwrite 6% of the Chamber budget to support our public policy efforts say they are most pleased with our efforts. Chamber advocacy for a blue ribbon commission review of school district funding gave credence to push for the referendum's success. We also successfully argued to adjust impact fees to reflect the reality of our economic recession and to better position collier county for it to eventually rebound. Partnerships: with Chamber alliance, project innovation, score, distinguished public service awards, fgcu, foreclosure task force, collier county president's council, and collier county medical society.
Communications: weekly e-newsletter: published each monday and features new upcoming events, Chamber announcements, public policy initiatives and other vital information. Www.napleschamber.org: continues to grow. Naples on the gulf: our annual publication produced in partnership with gulfshore publications has successfully distributed 100,000 copies from our Chamber building and downtown Naples visitors information centers and multiple distribution points throughout the county
