The Greater New Orleans Educational Television Foundation is the licensee for wyes-tv channel 12. The station services southeast Louisiana with quality transmission and production of public and Educational Television programs. Wyes tv serves as many as one million viewers. Wyes is also a safe haven for children and the preschool programs are designed to help make children ready to learn. Additionally, our numerous outreach efforts use our programs out in the community to help deal with local issues. Our local award-winning productions display what is unique and interesting about our people, city and region. For more than 50 years, wyes has possesseed a legacy of broadcasting the highest quality children's cultural, documentary, science, and public affairs programming on Television.
