Program areas at GPCC
Programs and events: the Chamber hosts annual, quarterly and monthly programs ranging from educational seminars and networking sessions to local and civic events. These programs and events provide our members networking opportunities, professional development, community involvement and regional exposure.
Economic competitiveness is responsible for advancing the Chamber's work to attract and expand companies, capital, and talent in the Greater philadelphia region. Engaging c-suite leaders from Chamber members, partners and investors to actively work to amplify the region's competitive advantages and accelerate equitable economic growth. It prioritizes activities in the technology and life sciences sectors, implementing a multi-platform approach to the region's talent and workforce challenges, and building the organization's partnerships and marketing campaigns to ensure that companies and talent select Greater philadelphia.
Advocacy: the Chamber provides members with a direct connection to local, state and federal governmental officials and policy-makers. Our advocacy team works on behalf of members to promote public policy that will bolster the region's economy and improve our competitiveness on a national and global scale. In addition, we are a community partner and create broad-based coalitions around issues that are important to the region's business community, including transportation, infrastructure, education and workforce development.
