Greater Waco Sports Commission identifies and attracts new sports events, enhances and retains existing events, generates positive economic impact, and enhances quality of life in McLennan County. Its mission is to establish the Greater Waco area as the preferred venue for sports in Texas through new sporting events and retaining existing ones. The commission works towards both recruiting new sporting events and enhancing existing ones to benefit the Waco area's economic and cultural well-being.
