Each Year the Greene County Historical Society conducts it's annual Harvest Festival which is a staple event in the community. The Event includes demonstrators who reenact and exhibit historic activities from the past to include, Civil War Reenactments, Weaving and Loom Demonstrations, Saw Mill Operation, Historic Games and other activities.
Over the course of two weekends during early winter, the Greene County Historical Society hosts a Christmas Open House that exhibits the historical aspects of the Christmas Season and reenacts the sorts of Christmas Activities that would have been held in our Historic Almshouse during its years of operation.
Each Summer the Greene County Historical Society hosts it's annual car show. This event allows members of the community to exhibit their classic and historic vehicles and allows them to view our Historic Locomotive and tour our Museum
