In 2023, Growgood provided programs for 4,500 individuals through food distribution, wellness offerings, and jobs. Food distribution donating weekly harvests to the salvation armys bell shelter and neighboring permanent supportive housing residents, we directly provide organically-grown, nutrient-dense produce to over 4,000 unique individuals each year. On a weekly basis, the food for life program was hosted in our outdoor therapy space , twice weekly, sessions that are required for the bell shelter wellness participants. Through this program we taught 230 unique individuals, and on average there were 30 participants in each class. We also relaunched our transitional employment program and employed 10 individuals in the training program. Furthermore, community volunteer events were held on a regular basis, typically 2-3 per month. In 2023 we served 500 community members who volunteered time to perform farming activities that benefited the bell shelter by providing a green space for residents.
