Program areas at GLAM
The GLAM Juneteenth Health & Wellness Conference was a comprehensive program ained to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to prioritize their health and wellness journey. GLAM successfully served 400 participants with complimentary tickets to the event. The conference featured a Health & Wellness panel tailored to women. Attendees benefited from a free wellnes clinic offering consultations and follow up support. Additionally, our food is medicine seminar underscored the importance of nutrition in overall health, complemented by the provision of wellness and food products to participants. 400 meals were include, ensuring the attendees received m=nourishment alongside knowledge and resources
GLAM's Self-Esteem Development Program serviced 75 girls during this period. 50 of these participants received wrap-around services, while 67 individuals accessed a range of preventive services, such as mental health support, and educational resources, access to healthy food options, and income support. Our workshops and facilitators have been able to enhance the quality of this program, providing additional learning opportunities for our participants. Through these efforts, we remain committed to fostering the holistic growth and well-being of the next generation of leaders
