Program areas at Guyon Saunders Resource Center
Dayroom - the dayroom is an important service which assists homeless and at-risk individuals on the road to seelf-sufficiency. Many services are provided through the dayroom, including showers, washers, dryers, personal hygiene items, protected storage for personal belongs, telephone, bank, books, mailing address, and internet services. Homeless and at-risk clients are screened upon arrival so they can be best matched with the services and help they require to enable them to "get off the streets". While at the Center, they are encouraged to explore the other service opportnities in the building. The Center is open daily, proving them protection from weather extremes. In 2022, we provided assistance to 1642 clients.
