Program areas at Habitat for Humanity Greater Cincinnati
The homeownership and repair program is committed to revitalizing neighborhoods by building new homes and rehabbing usable homes. We provide affordable homes to families to help improve the quality of life, health and economic prosperity of the community. A total of 30 homes were under construction during the current year and 20 were completed and transferred to low-income families. Over 60 repairs were completed for veterans and low income seniors.
Managed a portfolio of approximately 300 mortgages during the current year for low-income families.
Habitat for Humanity restores sell new and used donated construction and home improvement materials, appliances, furniture, and other household items to the public at greatly reduced prices. The restores keep tons of building materials out of landfills each year. The restores currently have five area locations in bellevue, bond hill, cheviot, fairfield, and florence.
