Habitat for Humanity - HFH of Lake Sumter FL works in partnership with God and people from all walks of life to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intends. Their long term goal is to eliminate poverty housing in Lake and Sumter counties of Florida. They mobilized over 800 volunteers from churches, businesses, and the general public during this fiscal year. They operate two Habitat thrift stores and have sold several homes.
