Home construction/ homeowner program: Habitat for Humanity of the River valley(hfhrv) was established in 1987 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity international. Hfhrv serves families who make between 25% and 60% of ami(area median income) and are currently living in substandard or inadequate housing. Financial relief along with a practical homeownership education allows families to thrive. Ultimately, neighborhoods get safer, civic engagement increases, and local economies grow as we place families in affordable housing.
