Habitat for Humanity - Madison and Clark Cos HFH

The organization is a non-profit organization that works in partnership with people in need to build simple, decent, and affordable homes. Habitat built homes are sold to families in need at "no profit" to Habitat and are financed with 0% interest mortgages. Habitat families are selected based on three criteria. The family demonstrates the need for housing, the family has the ability to pay the low mortgage payments, and the family has to be willing to partner with Habitat. A family partnership with Habitat participates in Habitat programs and is required to provide sweat equity in the building of their home.

The organization's restore program accepts donations of household items, building materials, and appliances to be sold at discounted prices to generate revenue for building of new Habitat homes in Madison and Clark Counties.
